I want to thank NuHorizon Remodeling for the excellent work that they did remodeling our kitchen here in the Lake Travis area of Lakeway/Bee Cave. The house was built in 1992 and the kitchen had multiple issues. The oven was on one side of the kitchen on the island. The cook top was on the counter along the kitchen wall, and a microwave was built-into a cabinet in a third location. Eli and Alon did an amazing job installing the oven range with overhead microwave, freeing up the other two spots to put in new drawers and cabinets. Their cabinet maker did excellent work.
The kitchen island had overhead cabinets hanging from the ceiling, large fluorescent boxed lighting was over the main kitchen floor, and the countertops and backsplash were the old laminate variety. All countertops were replaced with quartz, three pendant lights now hang where the overhead cabinets used to be, white tile covers the wall between the countertop and cabinets where the new microwave and oven range are now, and four can lights are now recessed into the ceiling where the overhead boxed fluorescent lighting used to be. It looks amazing!!
But the most amazing thing is what they did with the wood cabinets. The wood was in great condition and they primed the wood and added two new coats of white paint. Add in all new hardware and the kitchen is absolutely beautiful. Most of the others that we bid the job out to just wanted to rip it all out and replace everything, at almost double the cost. They did it in two weeks, (even though slowed down a day or two by the freeze in the teens). Throughout the process a major effort was made to keep areas clean and the dust down. Poles pinned plastic protection from floor to ceiling and wall to wall on both sides of the kitchen, completely sealing it off. We hired NuHorizon via Thumbtack. Of the few people I contacted through thumbtack, Alon (NuHorizon) was the first one to contact me. He was very prompt in communicating. We converted our formal dining to a study by installing a french double door on one side and a single door on the other. The project needed resizing the wall also. Alon, provide good suggestions on best approach for our project. He helped us with picking the doors at a good discount. I am very happy with the outcome. Job was very well done with doors, walls, paint and finish matching the existing ones. They gave a timeline of 4 days and got it done in less than 3 days. Very prompt in timing as well. I would definitely reach out to him for my future home improvement projects if any.

We decided to remodel our downstairs bathroom to accommodate our needs as we get older. We engaged NuHorizon Remodelinng based on a colleague's recommendation. It proved to be an excellent decision.
Alon is a respectful, knowledgeable, and extremely conscientious general contractor. His experience helped us iron out our original ideas into a functional and very attractive finished product. Both he and his project foreman were readily available and promptly responded to any questions we had. The crew was friendly, punctual, efficient and highly skilled. The project finished earlier than the projected date. The cost was quite reasonable.
